
Bronte has been acting and singing since she was three years old. In 2010, Bronte won a scholarship to The McDonald College of Performing Arts in Sydney where she undertook intensive studies and performed in drama, vocal, cello and many styles of dance. In her final year of school Bronte wrote, directed and produced a musical she called Stockholm, which played to full houses for a week and raised over $4,000 for the breast cancer charity Bosom Buddies.
She studied music performance at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts before graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Sydney with a Bachelor of Music.
Bronte took the lead in the Australian play Heaven in 2016, which debuted at the Canberra Theatre before a week at Parramatta Riverside Theatre. Her talents were showcased twice on the Opera House stage in 2016 including in the Opera Australia production of Don Carlos. More recently Bronte has been seen as a featured extra in Channel 9’s Love Child and ABC’s Rake.
Bronte achieved her Honours Degree at the Australian National University’s School of Music while also completing the Youth Theatre program run by the Canberra’s Street Theatre. She debuted as various roles in the production Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.
For over three years Bronte resided in the Northern Territory spending the majority of her time utilising her improvisation, clowning and team work skills as a Captain Starlight for the Children’s Starlight Foundation. In that role she bought laughter and happiness to seriously ill children and their families. While in Darwin, Bronte also debuted in her first short film as lead actor in Avalon for the international film festival “Light This Location”.
Bronte now continues her passion for performance, performing and teaching across NSW and ACT.
